Bestowed with the duty of running the day-to-day affairs of the Office of the Governor is Ms. Beatrice Tumaini Kahindi. 
The 2006 alumnus of Egerton University has occupied the post of Director of this powerful office for close to two years with dedication and diligence, poise and purpose. 
A former Fly 540 air hostess, Ms Tumaini holds key duties at the most powerful office of Kilifi County – arguably Coast region’s most diverse county. She has brought on the table, a wealth of experience in key administrative functions that have shaped Kilifi’s administrative agenda. 
Out of office, Ms Tumaini is a business lady, farmer, social entrepreneur and administrator, with a streak of effective leadership that has seen the office receive rave reviews of service delivery. 
Ms. Tumaini is also a food security champion and uses her influence to speak and voice her desire to see a food secure county by 2030 as one way of ending the myriad of social challenges facing the county.
