Yesterday I took sometime alongside my Deputy Governor Hon. Flora Margaret Chibule to tour the Kilifi Referral Hospital where we assessed the status of the facilities. My greatest concerns were congestion, lack of sufficient functional equipment and insufficient stock of medicines.
I assure the people of Kilifi that my government is going to quickly address these issues and others in all medical facilities in the county. As per my campaign pledge and manifesto, better healthcare is a right for all citizens not a favour. We are moving forward steadily.
